I love food. I love to make it and I love to eat it (but mostly make it). Every Friday I intend to post a new recipe for you to try. I won't post it unless I have tried to make it because I want to know it is good.
This recipe might sound like a way for me to get out of writing for Food Friday but you should know, it is not. This is something I have been craving lately! Probably because I am craving summertime.
Our family is big into sports. Not only playing (baseball, softball, basketball, and volleyball), but watching! We try to get to as many family events as possible which has been tough lately due to our CRAZY schedules!
One of my favorite game-time treats/meals is a Walking Taco, Taco in a Bag, whatever you want to call it. Oh. My. Yumness. And so easy when entertaining for a group before or after a ball game, for a child's birthday party, or just a summer meal with friends!

You will need:
- 1 lb. of ground beef
- 1 cup of water
- 1 package of taco seasoning
- shredded lettuce
- shredded cheddar cheese
- diced tomatoes
- salsa (I prefer mild)
- sour cream
- snack sized bag of Doritos
Cook up the taco meat per the instructions on the back of the taco mix. Open your bag of chips (to get the air out) and pinch the chips at the bottom of the bag so they are bite-sized.
This is the order I do it, but mix it up as you please!
On top of the chips (in the bag), place a generous spoonful of taco meat followed by: cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and salsa. Be sure to mix well (either by shaking or with a fork) so you get a taste of everything on every bite.
This will probably be a meal sometime soon. You should try it too!
